South Wales Police - a joint collaboration with GRS and Agresso Business World

Our ambition has been to implement an integrated system that replaced a range of legacy HR/Payroll/Finance and Procurement and duties systems.

South Wales Police particularly chose to implement these products due to the value for money it represented, increased usability of these products over and above our existing systems, the flexibility that it afforded us through the configurable nature as well as the strategic alliance with Software Enterprise Limited, a known and well respected rostering product.

Working with the team of consultants assigned to us has helped us to question the way we do things and to work out the best way of implementing a system to suit the needs of South Wales Police whilst driving out more efficient processes. As a result of us reviewing all our associated structures and processes we estimate that we have saved in the region of £2 million whilst at the same time improving customer service and experience due to the introduction of self service and improved availability of information.

South East Coast Ambulance Service's recent upgrade to Series 3 of GRS

The new GRS Web went live when we upgraded to version 3 on the full client, the web has gone through a complete re-write and is not just a face lift on an older version.

Our experience so far is that the look and feel are extremely pleasing on the eye and very intuitive for the user, in time we will open up some of the extended functionality and will use all of the fields to a greater extent.

I have had nothing but positive feedback from our usually very discerning staff, they are all pleased with how the system presents itself and in particular the compatibility issues we have had in the past seem to have been overcome completely.
